The clinical team uses that information to recommend the appropriate level of care and begin an individualized treatment plan. You can come to the call without knowing the treatment system. We will help make the path forward clear.

A program determines the clinical intensity, structure, and level of care you receive. Specialized tracks and integrated services personalize that care around needs such as faith, trauma, military experience, relationships, family involvement, or legal circumstances. Christian Track, Alternative Sentencing, Veterans Program, Trauma & PTSD, Couples Program, and Family Program services work within the underlying treatment plan. Scholarship Track provides a limited access pathway into treatment, while Interventions helps families move a resistant loved one toward care.

Many clients do. Recovery takes time, repetition, practice, and increasing responsibility. As stability grows, treatment progressively gives you more independence while continuing therapy, accountability, relapse prevention, recovery community involvement, and support. Each stage gives new skills time to become habits and new recovery relationships time to become dependable support. Transition Planning begins early so the next step is identified before the current level of care ends.

Yes. Lighthouse treats substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns within an integrated clinical model. Care can include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, individual and group therapy, trauma-informed treatment, and approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Seeking Safety, and DBT-informed interventions. Medication-Assisted Treatment is available when clinically appropriate. Your treatment team coordinates these services around your clinical needs, recovery goals, and level of care.

Treatment length depends on clinical need, medical necessity, progress, and recovery goals. Detox commonly lasts 3 to 10 days. Residential Treatment may last 30 to 90 days or longer. PHP often lasts 2 to 6 weeks, while IOP may continue for 4 to 12 weeks or longer. Sober Living may continue for several months, and Alumni Program participation is ongoing and voluntary. Your treatment team continually reviews progress and recommends the amount of structure and support needed for the next stage.

Lighthouse accepts 30+ commercial insurance plans, and Admissions verifies benefits before admission. The team reviews reported coverage, identifies known financial responsibility, and explains available pathways, including private pay and Medi-Cal/DMC for eligible clients. Final coverage, authorization, payment, and out-of-pocket costs are determined by your insurance plan and benefits. Yes. Family involvement can become an important part of recovery when it supports the treatment plan. Loved ones may participate in family or couples sessions, addiction education, communication and boundary work, approved visitation, and transition planning. Services also address codependency, enabling, conflict, trust, and the recovery environment at home. Family Program and Couples Program services are integrated into Residential Treatment, PHP, and IOP based on clinical appropriateness. Ask Admissions how family involvement may fit into your care.
