A Recovery Environment Built for Reintegration

Our 92-bed San Diego drug rehab is a Community Reentry Center serving justice-involved adults who need addiction treatment, structure, and support as they prepare to return to the community. The facility brings detox, residential treatment, reentry services, case management, and daily accountability together in one highly structured setting.

Clients work on far more than substance use. They rebuild routines, responsibility, confidence, life skills, and a sense of direction. Some of the deepest transformations in Lighthouse care happen through this process as people begin to see a future beyond addiction, incarceration, and the circumstances that brought them into treatment.

“

Highly recommend. This place changed my life, got me sober, working, and reconnected with society. I've been clean over three years now, off paper, employed, and enjoy playing for there softball team. A great blessing to have been a part of this community. I am truly grateful for them. Alumni!

What Reintegration Looks Like

Rebuilding the Skills to Move Forward

Reintegration begins before you leave treatment. You learn to slow down, regulate emotions, think before reacting, keep commitments, communicate clearly, and rebuild trust in yourself. As those skills take hold, the focus shifts to work, housing, relationships, recovery, and responsibility. Step by step, you begin to see yourself as capable of building a stable, purposeful life.

Programs for Recovery, Accountability, and Reentry

Every client enters at the level of care that fits their clinical needs, legal requirements, and current stage of recovery. Detox, residential treatment, and reentry programming create a clear path from stabilization into deeper clinical work, personal responsibility, and real-world preparation. From the beginning, case management and transition planning help clients rebuild the skills, routines, and support systems they need to move into outpatient care, sober living, independent housing, employment, and a more stable life in recovery.

Typical Duration

Detox: 4 to 7 days

Residential: 90 or 120 days

Community Transition Center: 4 to 5 days

Groups & Activities at San Diego Rehab

Structure is a major part of the recovery process here. Each day gives clients repeated opportunities to practice showing up, following through, managing emotions, accepting accountability, and making healthier decisions.

Clinical work is paired with recovery education, life skills, vocational development, and reentry planning so progress becomes something clients practice every day, not simply something they discuss in treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Our San Diego Drug Rehab

The San Diego Community Reentry Center provides Detox, Residential Treatment, and structured reentry programming for justice-involved adults. Care includes clinical assessment, individual and group therapy, psychiatric and medical support, case management, recovery education, life skills, vocational development, drug and alcohol monitoring, and legal coordination.

Treatment is built around more than getting through a program. Clients work on the skills, habits, confidence, and personal responsibility needed to build a different life. Transition Planning begins early so the next step, including outpatient care, Sober Living, or independent living, is already taking shape before discharge.

Yes. Detox is available as part of the broader treatment and reentry program. Care focuses on stabilization, monitoring, medication support when clinically appropriate, and preparing each client to continue treatment.

The average detox stay is about four days, although timing depends on the substance used, withdrawal risk, medical needs, and progress. Clients who need continued structure can move directly into Residential Treatment at the same facility, allowing recovery to keep moving forward without an unnecessary break in care.

The program serves justice-involved adults who need addiction treatment, accountability, and help building a more stable future. Clients may enter from custody, probation, parole, or an approved alternative sentencing placement.

For many people, treatment becomes an opportunity to redefine what happens next. Clients begin rebuilding routines, relationships, work skills, recovery support, and confidence while learning healthier ways to manage stress, make decisions, and meet responsibilities. Referrals can come through probation, parole, attorneys, correctional facilities, county partners, or directly through Admissions.

Yes. The facility coordinates approved transfers from jails, prisons, fire camps, and probation offices. A dedicated transportation team works with correctional facilities and referral partners to reduce the gap between release and treatment.

Once you arrive, intake and assessment help determine the appropriate placement. That immediate move into structure can be especially important during the first hours and days after release, when old environments, uncertainty, and instability can quickly become obstacles. Attorneys, probation officers, and referral partners can contact Admissions to review eligibility and transportation logistics.

Residential treatment at the San Diego Community Reentry Center is offered in 90-day or 120-day program lengths. The actual stay reflects clinical needs, placement requirements, legal obligations, and progress in treatment.

That extended time gives clients an opportunity to do meaningful work on recovery, behavior, emotional regulation, life skills, employment readiness, and community reintegration. Community Transition Center clients generally stay four to five days while a longer-term placement is arranged, while detox averages about four days.

Yes. Coordination with probation, parole, attorneys, courts, and county systems is an important part of the San Diego reentry model.

Depending on the placement, services include attendance tracking, drug and alcohol testing, compliance monitoring, case management, progress documentation, and coordination around legal obligations. Approved placements can also support an Alternative Sentencing pathway. Legal outcomes remain with the court and supervising agencies, while the treatment team helps clients demonstrate participation, accountability, and meaningful engagement in recovery.

Planning for life after treatment starts early. Depending on clinical needs and placement requirements, clients can transition into Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), other outpatient care, Sober Living, independent housing, community mental health services, recovery meetings, employment resources, and alumni support.

Case managers also help address housing, transportation, legal responsibilities, medical and psychiatric follow-up, vocational goals, and ongoing recovery support. The goal is to leave each stage of care with greater clarity about where you are going, what you need to protect your recovery, and what actions come next.

Lighthouse’s San Diego rehab combines addiction treatment, longer-term residential care, reentry support, vocational and life skills development, case management, legal coordination, and custody-to-care transportation within one structured program.

The facility is part of a Lighthouse system with 25+ years of treatment experience, 25,000+ clients served, 203 licensed beds, and a full continuum of care. More importantly, the San Diego program is built around what comes after treatment. Clients work toward greater stability, responsibility, independence, and a future that is no longer controlled by addiction or repeated involvement with the justice system.

If you are trying to determine whether this program is the right fit for you, someone you love, or someone you represent, speak with Admissions and let our team help you understand the next step.
