“

Lighthouse is truly an amazing place to help you through the struggles of drug alcohol addiction. The staff is wonderful and always there to help you any time day or night. You gain the knowledge about your disease and tools to help you throughout your recovery.

The food is awesome. The facility is clean.
They take you on outings to learn to have fun clean and sober. I was scared going into rehab and from the moment I walked through the doors I felt welcomed, supported, and safe. After completing the program you can join their alumni program and continue having support and sober fun. I will forever be grateful to my Lighthouse family.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lighthouse Admissions

When treatment is appropriate and a bed is available, we can often move from your first call to admission within hours. Admissions handles the screening, insurance or payment pathway, clinical coordination, transportation planning, and arrival details so momentum is not lost. Medical needs, withdrawal risk, bed availability, and logistics can affect timing. Call now to confirm availability and find out how quickly we can get you into care.

Yes. A family member, close friend, therapist, physician, attorney, case manager, or referral partner can make the first call. We can listen to what is happening, answer questions, explain the available path forward, and help prepare for the next step. Once you join the process, we complete the screening needed to determine the appropriate level of care. If you are helping someone you love, call now and let us help you start the conversation.

You can call us nervous. You can call us uncertain. You can call without knowing exactly what to say. We understand how much fear, shame, and uncertainty can surround treatment, and our admissions team knows how to make that first conversation easier. We will listen, answer your questions honestly, and help you focus on the next right step. Call us now and tell us what is making treatment feel difficult right now. We will work through it with you and explain your addiction treatment options.

That is exactly what we will help you determine. We look at your substance use, withdrawal risk, medical and mental health needs, medications, treatment history, living environment, support system, and recovery goals. From there, the clinical team recommends the appropriate level of care, which may include Detox, Residential Treatment, PHP, IOP, or Sober Living. Call Admissions and tell us what is happening. We will help you understand where to begin.

Yes. We will verify your insurance benefits and explain the information we receive, including reported coverage, authorization requirements, and known financial responsibility. Lighthouse accepts 30+ commercial insurance plans and also offers private pay and Medi-Cal/DMC pathways. Final coverage and payment decisions remain with your insurance plan. Call now for immediate insurance verification, and we will help you understand the clearest financial path into treatment.

Yes. The people who care about you can be involved from the first call and throughout treatment when clinically appropriate and authorized. We help families understand what to expect, coordinate logistics, answer questions, and support the recommended treatment plan. Family involvement may also include education, approved visits, communication with the treatment team, and family support services based on your clinical needs. Invite someone you trust into the first call, or have them contact Admissions directly for guidance.

Tell us where you are, and we will help coordinate the trip into treatment. Our dedicated transportation department arranges pickups from homes, hospitals, detox centers, and approved referral or custody locations, then coordinates your arrival with Admissions and Intake. In most cases, transportation planning depends on your placement, location, timing, and individual needs. Call us now and share your location so we can begin coordinating the best route to care.

Your first day is focused on helping you land comfortably and begin care with clear support around you. Our intake team gathers the essential medical, clinical, and personal information needed to understand your needs, then walks you through the program, answers questions, and provides the materials you need to get oriented. We help you settle into your room, meals are provided, medication needs are addressed as part of your care, and support staff are available around the clock. A medical or psychiatric provider evaluates new admissions within 24 hours, and your team begins building your individualized treatment plan. Ask Admissions what your arrival will look like so you can come in knowing what to expect.

If withdrawal management is the right place to begin, we will identify that during your screening and coordinate your admission into Detox. You will receive 24/7 monitoring and support, withdrawal assessment, medical evaluation, and medication-assisted withdrawal support when clinically appropriate, with the immediate goal of stabilization. Once you are medically ready, we coordinate the next stage of treatment, including Residential Treatment when appropriate. Call now and tell us what you have been using, when you last used, and what symptoms you are experiencing so we can help determine the right starting point.
